The anesthesia shirts highlight one of the most difficult but essential techniques mastered by anesthesia providers. The EC technique depicted in our shirt shows the E and C created by the hand during bag-valve-mask ventilation of patients. This technique provides a tight seal on the patient’s face while allowing the provider’s other hand to ventilate.
